Mark received his Bachelors Degree from California State University Sacramento with emphasis in physical therapy and athletic training. Mark received his Masters Degree in Physical Therapy at University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA. Since then he has been very involved in sports medicine working with numerous professional, college, and high school sports teams to rehabilitate their athletes. Mark currently oversees the athletic trainer for the Pagosa High Pirates. He specializes in orthopedic and sports injuries, manual therapy, and spinal rehabilitation. Mark has called Pagosa Springs home since 2003. Mark enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, and barbequing, when he is not dedicating his time to his patients and family.
Jan received her Bachelors Degree from Missouri Western State University in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Then pursued her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. During her 20-year career Jan has worked primarily in outpatient orthopedics as well as long term care. Outside of the work place Jan can be found enjoying her three sons and their activities as well as camping, hiking, and fishing.
Jackie Rea has been practicing outpatient orthopedic PT for over 10 years. She received her doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University in 2009. She is certified in dry needling, has taken many courses in a variety of manual therapy techniques, exercise and exercise prescription, and neuromuscular techniques. Prior to attending PT school, she received a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Colorado College. Jackie, her husband, and two young children moved to Pagosa in December, 2019. She is originally from Santa Fe. NM. Jackie enjoys many outdoor activities including skiing, mountain biking, and hiking.
Bryce graduated from Parker College of Chiropractic in 2008 with Doctorate in Chiropractic and a B.S. in Anatomy and Physiology and a B.S. in Health and Wellness. After graduation, Bryce practiced in McKinney, TX where he specialized in soft tissue work, mobility, and injury rehabilitation until relocating to Pagosa Springs with his wife, Jenny, and their children in June of 2014.
Jeff is originally from Farmington, NM and graduated with honors from San Juan College in 2006. Jeff practiced in Austin, TX until 2013 at which time he and his girlfriend Debbie took some time off to travel the U.S. to see family and visit 14 National Parks. They are now very excited to call Pagosa Springs home.
Kim is a graduate of the Tide Water Community College PTA program located in Virginia Beach, VA. She began her career in 1989 specializing in orthopedic related injuries. During her off time Kim enjoys hiking the trails with her dog Blue and snowboarding Wolf Creek in the winter.
Jame was raised on the central coast of California. Starting in the early 90’s he vacationed in Pagosa Springs yearly until making Pagosa his permanent home in 2000 and has been working for Rocky Mountain Physical Therapy since 2006. When not at work you can usually find Jame doing something outdoors; fly-fishing, hunting, camping, or riding his horses.
Ryan received his Bachelors degree in Athletic Training from the University of Utah in 2014. After graduation he worked with youth athletics programs until moving to Colorado in 2015 to work as the ATC for Pagosa Springs High School. Ryan places strong emphasis on functional, sport specific rehabilitation methods, and injury prevention programs. When Ryan is not on the sidelines of a Pirate event you might find enjoying beautiful Colorado. Hiking, photography, and outdoor sports are his favorite interests.
Nikki moved to Pagosa from Connecticut with her dog Timmy in 2018. Nikki is a trained pastry chef so it was a bit of a change when she joined our team in December of that year. Nikki loves everything that Colorado has to offer including hiking, boating, camping and skiing.
Aniceta is originally from Pagosa and graduated Ft Lewis College with a Bachelor in Exercise Science-Specialist in 2014. Ani has been a certified personal trainer since 2014 and a Pn1 certified nutrition coach since 2017, working with clients of varied ages, goals, and abilities, developing personalized training programs to fit their goals.
Ani is excited to be part Rocky Mountain Physical Therapy team and being able to work in another spectrum of the movement of body.
Outside the office, Ani loves spending time with her family, getting a great training session in, and expanding her knowledge
Christine joined our team in 2020. She is originally from Southern California, And has has called Pagosa home for 25 years. Christine enjoys everything outdoors, Traveling, retail therapy, good food, cooking and simply spending time with family and friends.
Sandra grew up in Pagosa Springs. She loves spending time with her family while enjoying all that Pagosa has to offer especially hiking and camping.
